In the Bay Area, DJ Wonway Posibul’s Makossa Classics has been something of legend it seems. Spawned by a very popular Oakland party, Volume 1 has infused ears and got heads nodding from Oaktown to Brooklyn, and the equally ambitious follow up, Makossa Classics Volume 2 plans to do the same. Blending everything from classic Soul to Afrobeat and Latin rhythyms, Makossa is hands down going to be your soundtrack to the summer (and if you’ve experienced the Freshetic BBQ’s in Brooklyn it already is!).
